In Toddler I, the kids fetch their own placemat and cutlery, bring their own diapers to the teacher at changing time, and generally do as much on their own as humanly possible. They're in seventh heaven.
The real price of admission, though, is that this is the room they start potty training. Worth every penny. The teachers wait for at least a month or two to let the child get accustomed to the new class and alllllllll the stuff there is to do, and then they decide if the kid might be physically ready to start.
Andrew's last progress report from Movement II says:
Andrew is becoming very helpful. Throughout the day, he helps me put away the work in the afternoon as well as helping me count the children when we go in the elevator.According to the report, his favorite lessons are "S," "M," and "T" letter boxes and his favorite song is "We're going to Kentucky." I can probably fake the letter stuff but I'm at a loss for Kentucky since I've never heard of the song. Google, here I come.
