- The living room rug, coffee table, and other things that made it look like an adult lives there.
- My kitchen chairs. They're in my bedroom.
- Being able to put something down somewhere and have that be my last thought on the matter.
- Knowing I can leave the house in a precise amount of time after I get up.
- Having a day that I don't leave the house at all.
Andrew misses:
- My tiger chair. Mom moved it after I stood on it and tried to lift the huge painting above it off the wall.
- My legos. Mom moved them after I threw all 26 of them across the apartment during what she insensitively refers to as a Jekyll-and-Hyde episode.
- The toilet paper. Mom moved it off the holder after I held the end in my hands and walked to the kitchen with it.

One of my friends who has no kids said last Sunday she laid in bed ALL day, just watching TV and movies, and messing with her laptop. It sounded so foreign to me. Boy, do I miss being able to do that!
