Family and old friends know of my great love for Sarah McLachlan. New friends can take it on faith or draw their own conclusions from the fact that I've seen her perform live a couple dozen times, including seven times in Canada which required three international trips on my part.
So this probably doesn't come as a surprise to anyone.
